Could Be Something
It’s amazing how a few years can change everything. In darkness there will always be light.
I consider this latest volume to be my light. Now the inevitable must happen:
Big Daddy you hold my heart. No matter where you go and for however long, I’ll be here. To my mother, sisters and brothers, the love of family is the most unconditional.
Alex, through the worst of it you stood by me. You let me cry on your shoulder, screamed with me in anger and smiled with me when my life started to make sense again. It’s because of your support that I learned how to stand on my own. You truly are my best friend. Hubi.
Liz, your kindness and honesty is inspiring. Not only did you weather this storm with me you even helped me edit it. Maria and Paula, we have been through so much together. I look forward to growing with you just like our waistlines and families. You ladies are my rock. I love you.
To my co-workers, Kerrilee, Gail, Kristin, Ed, Norm, Mike, Joanne, Lolli and the neurosurgical staff and faculty at CHB, thank you for supporting me as I crumbled many times in the office, disappeared for days on end and zoned out on several occasions as I tried to pull myself together.
Fred, you showed me love and stability and what counts in a relationship, lessons I’ll never forget. Leon, you made those days that were dark, the right little moments of brilliance I needed and for that I am so happy we were able to remain friends.
Kristin M. and Mike B,
