INTRODUCTION
There is a fine line between madness and obsession. Obsession is a compulsive preoccupation with an object or person, usually accompanied by anxiety. Insanity is a range of abnormal behaviours or patterns. Some folks hide their emotions and stuff them down so deep that they can turn ugly and unrecognizable. Suppressed emotions will wreak havoc on any sane person and cause them to behave in an irrational way, like spewing anger upon everything and anyone they come in contact with.

When physical actions do not match up with verbal response you know there is more going on than what is being communicated. It is our non-verbal communication that shows us the truth behind our words. This is why it is so important to get those feelings out, but in a positive way. It’s not the emotion that gets us in trouble it is what we do with it that may not give a desirable outcome. Writing is an excellent way to expunge those horrible feelings of anger and despair.

Falling in love, getting married and raising a family is what most women strive for from the time we can play house until our last dying breath. We hunt for it like animals. It’s what we desire most in life, to fall in love and raise a family. We play house and watch movies and soak it all in. We were born to be fruitful and multiply. Even the bible tells us to do so. To reproduce is instinct and the human emotion is strong.
The drawing illustrated on the previous page is a symbolic representation of womanhood. The breast shaped hearts with the chains represent the loss of innocence and the boundaries of romantic love. Real love has no chains.
Sometimes we are so high on love that the world looks divinely sunny and exciting. Life has meaning. But alas, it never lasts. Eventually our insecurities and hang-ups cause conflicts and the romance fades being replaced with heartache. The heart represents womanhood and the chains that bind us.
The tiniest heart is the baby. She is sweet and innocent and gives her heart with joy. She has no chains yet. If only we could
