Acknowledgements
I am grateful to my family, my sisterfriends, who taught me that family is what you make it. My three joys who force me to slow down and smell the roses.
Thank you to my mother who has inspired me through the years.
To the real Superwoman Angie who survived, and to Justin who did not.
And to the cool, the one who taught me that love is a choice to be free.

Stay
"Am I asking too much when I say
Can you stay?"
For the day when we met there were butterflies,
Blue skies and stars in my eyes
And you stayed
On our first date you were late
Dinner was great
You wanted to walk and talk
And I stayed
Now vows are said
Something about not parting until we are dead
Easier said than done
Everything changes when reality come
Knocking at the door
With the face of a bill collector
Saying no lights after four
And a baby cries in the middle of the night
When you have work in two hours
And I realize you no longer bring me flowers
And date night is a blockbuster movie
And leftovers
Will you turn over and say
You will stay?
Stay with me through the joys of life
Stay with me through the trials and strife
Through the deaths and births
For all it’s worth
Can you stay?
Thin Line
Cherish the man who loves and respect you
Because they are hard to find
If he offer trust and loyalty
Then his love is divine
Give him your all but never forget
To have your own mind
For between love and insanity
There is a very thin line… .
First Love Tribute
Memories of you have recently taunted me, haunted me
I see your face now everywhere I go
And I don’t know if you are real or just a dream
Because I can smell you
And I feel like I am touching you and this scares me
Could it be that you are my soulmate
That my soul has been separated from you for so long
And now it misses you
Is it too late to re-unite fate?
My heart lies hollow with a missing space
My body aches for your taunt embrace
My mind is disillusioned with images of you
Oh how can I find you?
What will I do?
I will write a message and strap it
To the foot of a dove
And pray that he will fly to you
My first love
Green Eyes
Do you remember our summer of love?
Under green-blue skies
Sweet island breezes touching our face
First kisses,
