About this ebook

This book carries you through a journey of human emotion, it's about the feelings that make us as special as we are. Our every being is surrounded by love, hate, anger, hope, faith and so many more emotions that lead us, keep us alive and universally keep us moving. The poems are based on either fragments of my life or the lives of others that I hold dear. These are real expressions of different situations that we all find ourselves in at one point or the other in our lives. So grab your favourite drink, curl up in a comfortable place and join me on a really great journey one that I am privileged to share with you.

    Ethereal Romanticism

    I visited your grave

    In my dream last night

What I felt made me realise

That if this were the only way that we could

Dance our dance of trepidation so sublime we would

For you would run to me like the army had bombs at your feet

You would fly to me even if you didn’t have wings

    We would find a way

In a world filled with bomb mines

    Political correctness

    Bullshit and sheep

    Our love reigns supreme

    Our indignation for filth

    Will see us rise above

    This earth

    Even at six feet under

You would lay by my side

And when the time was right

Our souls would smile at each other

    Recalling our time on earth

    We will reminisce and feel

    What we once felt

    Only magnified

    I felt empty

When I saw you in your casket

I felt like it needed to be bigger

You’ve always liked to move around

I felt like it weren’t grand enough

Because we would once again be together

And you know how perfect I like everything to be

There would be no room for you and I

    No room for us

No room for our toes to touch each other

No room for you to run your fingers through my hair

    Or gently down my cheek

There was no room for you to glow in laughter

I saw you in my dream last night

    But the emptiness slowly subsided

Like wings on a dove we were meant to be magic for eternity

    In every lifetime

I know that we will celebrate grandly when that time comes

    Fear death I do not

I feel at ease with the idea of it

    The knowing that

That death is not a goodbye to a love so unshakable

In that world you would still be the most handsome man to me

    My man of strong skeleton

    My man that’s never shaken

Lover just know that we will be what we are until the end of time

You will forever be mine and I yours

Forever and a lifetime is my promise

    Time matters not

    We will pass it

    Playing our memory reel’s

You will feel all that you have made me feel

    My joy, pleasure, pain

In quick motion you took from me

And gave me back my life

    We will forget about seasons

Skeletons have no worry of that

We will only rely on each other

And maybe the folks that lay still in the grave beside us

    Will hop on over

    Ever wondering how we
