About this ebook
The roots on the cover represent growth. As we continue to plant our seeds, nurturing our souls will enable the roots to become the foundation keeping the tree sturdy and strong. The roots continue to give us the willpower to remain standing in different battles that we fight. As long as the roots are strong, the tree will have the support to withstand any storm.
The tree represents life that pours into the living. Everyday we live for our spouse, kids, family, friends, and then ourselves. Which is where the branches come into play. The branches represent those we are surrounded by. Those who become part of our downfalls, our motivation, our past and our present and thoughts of the future. The branches are what brings balance into your life. When a storm comes, the branches allow the tree to sway giving it balance against trials and tribulations that can bring it down. You never know where life can take you. Although in some cases when it comes to love you will know when to put yourself first. However be very appreciative of the branches in your life.
Then you have the chains. The negativity, those who try to pull you down, hurt you, cause you misery, make you feel unloved and insecure. The same ones who'd rather see you down. The very ones that claimed friends to your faces and spoke ill about you behind your back .Those who didn't empower you or want the best. They are the chains in your life. People and things that you have to break free from. Chains can tear the branches away from your life. As long as you have strong roots, the chains can be defeatable.
Roots Unchained gives you a view of looking from within and realizing that you need to rise up for love within yourself. You have to allow your roots to be the foundation to keep you strong. You have to allow those who want the best out of you continue to help you gain balance in life. You have to allow yourself to continue to grow and prosper. Never allow situations to control you. Control the situations. With that being said, we hope you enjoy Roots Unchained.

Earth Majesty
Living in it
I’m breathing in it
Inhaling and exhaling it
Yea… I’m feigning for it
What I mean is that I’m feeling it.
I’m digging it
Deep… into its core
Now, I’m connecting to it
Like the waves, I’m rushing to it
The chemistry flows
Intertwined like our legs
kris crossing like vines
As we connect… you and I
Our soul bloom and explodes
Like the love of a red rose
Our love unfolds
Drips of sweat falling like morning dew
Upon our nose
As our lips lock
We become one
Like the rain connecting to the soil
Thirsty for your love
Climaxing beyond the clouds
Beyond the mountain tops
Soaring through the sky
Together, we enter a black tunnel
Indulging into each other’s atmosphere
As you become my King…
I’ll call you my Earth Majesty.
~S. L. Collins
A Fool
All I ask you to do is to not make me foolish
Don’t have me talking and praising your love
Yet, to find out there is another side to you.
Just don’t make me foolish
Only letting others see the perfect picture that’s held in a frame
Yet, behind the picture, there is this sheet of pain.
Lord, don’t let me be foolish
For love is what you have given to me
Lord don’t let me be foolish
Blind to where I can’t see the truth
Lord, give him pure honesty
Let the lies be the truth
And his love,
Let his love for me be real
Don’t let me drown in this whirlpool of fools…
Lord, don’t make me into a fool…
A fool for love
~SLCollins
Emotions
The love from a man is overwhelming
Unlike a man, a woman can’t bear it
Entwined with love and trust
The battle becomes a war full of
