Grasping this Love

I was given options

But it’s you that I want

This quiet love, where your words

Match your actions

This became my love language

It’s proof of a love highlighted like a bright star

I would feel its total dark sublime

It may take me a little time

To reach your amazing love

But for the first time, I can count the ways

My soul can ache

When you are out of sight

Your love is the flame that burns so deeply

Carrying your heart with me

Even miles away, I feel your light; your love is so pure

It’s thicker than I can forget even thinner than I can recall

Is love worth fighting for?
