Description: My wife and I were traveling when our son called from Oklahoma City and told us that Julie, our daughter, was found dead in her apartment from a drug overdose. She was 27 years old. It was heartbreaking. After 14 years it was finally over. If I had it to do over again what would I tell her? If you are looking for a long, technical answer, this is not for you. If you want the truth after a lifetime to think about it, in a short, easy to read format, this may be the solution. If it is not, it is unlikely anything else will work.
Keywords: opioid crisis, opioid addiction, stop using opioids, heroin addiction, drug addiction, oxycontin abuse, substance abuse, addiction help, addiction treatment, teenage addiction, teen alcohol, addiction therapy, oxycontin addiction

She went through all the rehab programs available, but nothing worked. Each day of her life she fought a battle between staying clean and using drugs.
Anyone who has never seen the pain a person goes through when they are fighting an addiction has no idea of the power it holds over your life.
When we were cleaning out her apartment there was a small box on her dresser. It was her prayer box. She would write down her prayer on a small piece of paper and put it in her box. When I opened the box there was a single piece of paper that read please stop me from doing drugs.
Her prayer was answered, not the way she expected. But she was finally at peace. I am now much older and wiser. If I could turn the clock back to when she was 13 years old, what would I tell her? I have had a lifetime to think about it. I can’t turn back the clock and talk to her, so that
