James shot out of his car and angrily threw the keys he was holding across the road. In his anger, he kicked his brand new car and as a result, felt a sharp pain in his leg. Clutching it painfully, he hobbled away and settled down underneath a tree. It took a while for the pain to completely disappear and by that time all he could think of was how he had gotten himself into this mess. His dad had probably been right when he'd said his son was a fool. After all, who bought a new car they knew absolutely nothing about from a fishy dealer who's only reference was a car dealership in Europe. It was about time James stopped making bad decisions though thinking about it, he didn't think that was going to happen any time soon. Not when he had money and a powerful father to fall back on whenever he did something stupid.

Deciding that there was still enough time to get to the party, James headed back to his car. All he had to do was call Pete to pick him up and he would be on his way to the city in an hour. However, James found himself stopping at the door. If his memory served him right, he'd left his car back home with Tatiana. The woman had been too obsessed with knowing the girls that James went around with behind her back even though they weren't even dating. James had thought leaving the phone behind would finally make her stop bugging him. Now he regretted it because he was stuck in the middle of nowhere with no idea how to get to Pete's place or even home. He certainly had to try and think things over before he did them.

Just when James felt he was about to give up, he spotted a car in the distance driving toward him. He ran to the middle of his road and stood there with his arms held up in the air. He had no idea if that was how he was supposed to stop a car, but he couldn't care less at the moment. All he wanted was to be on his way out of town as soon as he could. The car came to a stop right in front of James. An older man about his father's age came out to meet him.

What are you doing standing in the middle of the road? the old man asked.

I need help getting my car fixed, James explained gesturing to his car. The old man studied it then studied James some more. He could probably see already that the young man was from money. If James read him correctly, the old man was probably thinking of ways to milk him of his money. He had been in situations like this one more times than he could remember.

"You're in luck son. My nephew owns a
