Introduction

I am both humbled and grateful for the opportunity to release this work which has been building in me for the last few years.

If you do not know me, I’ll tell you I am a wife and mother of three. Above all that, I am a daughter of the King – the One who created heaven and earth, you and me. I call Him God.

This book was written to encourage women – Christian or not – that they can be the queens of their homes and wear the crown that was made for them as they love, respect and obey their husbands.

I realize that can sometimes be a tall order. Men can be stern and bull-headed from time to time, but they are first human. If you call yourself a daughter of the King, as I do, there’s no getting around the requirements our Heavenly Father laid out for us in His Word – The Holy Bible.

We’ll get into that later, but for now you should know that I wrote this book with not only my own personal experiences in mind, but with input from several individuals whose relationships I admire. They have shown me what it means to have a long-lasting, happy marriage done God’s way.

I learned quickly that when I stepped back and allowed my husband to do for me what he was designed to do – provide for me, coach me, guide me – I could truly be the queen of my castle. It was then that my vision of a marriage under God’s will was realized.

It is my hope that this book will show other wives how blessed their marriages can be when they try things God’s way.
