Gifting has got out of control
Q Over the years, my children started to buy each other and us bigger and bigger presents for birthdays and Christmas. It started when they all got good jobs and could afford it, and they were probably showing off. I now find myself struggling to keep up. My husband says it’s the thought that counts. Clare, Leeds
