My staff feel betrayed by me

Q I’ve been in my job for seven years and I need to move on to further my career. I’m a team leader, have a fabulous group of colleagues and we all work well together. I told them I was applying for jobs and they were cross with me. They felt that I was letting them down, and I will be leaving them prey to someone with different values and understanding. I’m very accommodating with their personal needs. I feel bad as I’ve been successful in gaining a new position and I don’t know what to say to them.
