My name is Luigi Kleinsasser. I was an Australian Special Forces fitness instructor and after leaving the service, owned and operated a successful weight-loss and fitness studio in America’s mid-west. All of my clients found the methods I taught were simple, easy to implement and extremely effective.
But, after an operation for a severe shoulder injury I sold the studio and underwent rehabilitation for more than a year. I travelled extensively, lived the good life and gained more body-fat than I knew was healthy for me but just couldn’t find the time to address the issue.
One day after stepping out of the shower, I caught a side-on glimpse of my protruding belly in the mirror and was shocked to realize how far I’d let myself go. When I looked down, I could just see my toes sticking out and nothing else! My belly-button was nowhere in sight . . . it was obviously time to put my dormant knowledge back to work, so, over the next few months I dropped forty-eight pounds to get back to my ideal weight.
My aim with this e-Book is to share the essential knowledge you need in order to control your weight and beat obesity.

INTRODUCTION
With the current epidemic of morbid obesity rampant in most of the industrialized world, but especially in North America, I’m happy to be able to share in this brief e-Book, the essentials of a simple dietary plan that anybody can use to attain a comfortable weight and a healthy body-fat level.
There’s no fad dieting, no pills, potions, gadgets or gymnasiums. There’s no need to count calories but, if you feel mathematically inclined, I’ll give you a simple formula to use. Otherwise, if you just follow my simple, down to-earth guidance, you can effortlessly attain and maintain your ideal weight and a healthy body-fat percentage.
Whether you’ve failed before or not, no matter where you want to lose the fat from, the solution is in these pages. But just reading will be of no value unless you accept the fact that change is necessary. And unless you’re prepared to change something, nothing else can change.
Keep doing what you’re already doing and things can only get worse.

There are three realities about weight-loss that must be clearly stated and if you can accept them as true, your weight-loss journey will be easier:
First of all, the body is made up primarily of muscle, bone, water and fat. Those first three are essential, "good weight which must be preserved at all costs. If more than 25% of your body-weight is fat, that’s
bad weight and needs to be eliminated. Gaining
good weight" muscle, is a lot of hard work, whereas gaining and losing "bad weight" fat, is easy.
To gain bad weight, all you need to do is eat – anything you want whenever you feel like it. But to lose bad weight you must eat only nutritious food at set times of the day. It’s as simple as that!
Secondly, meal timings and sizes are regional traditions which vary based on a person’s activity level.
Our prehistoric ancestors ate whenever food was available. At times they ate until they could eat no more and their bodies stored body-fat to see them through the frequent periods of famine and starvation. Or they died.
The simple fact is, that over many thousands of years of existence, the human body had evolved to store fat! But in the span of just a few hundred years (unless you live in a third-world country) there is no longer any need to store fat. The hunter-gatherer societies that still exist, eat twice a day and obesity, heart disease and diabetes are non-existent. In North America, some communities eat more than six times a day and have the world’s highest levels of obesity, heart disease and diabetes.
Continue to eat as though there’s no tomorrow and that day will come too soon!
And the most critical point is that weight-loss must be slow and cumulative.
With all of that being said, the main text in this e-Book outlines three essential phases in attaining your weight-loss goals. Each of the phases contain various Adoption Notices which are easy steps towards achieving your desired goal. It doesn’t matter whether you plan to lose ten pounds or one hundred pounds, those notices are the way to a healthier life and a slender body full of vim and vigor.
If you need more in-depth information, there are links to appendices or online sources which will clarify or justify the statements and claims made.
The mode of eating outlined in this e-Book to lose body-fat is the easiest and most effective ever devised. It is as Mother Nature dictates!
By embracing the changes suggested, you will lose weight from the first month onwards. But, reaching your ultimate goal will take time, so, patience is key! If you try to push the loss faster than your body can manage, you may have to live with loose, saggy skin.
Now, there are medical conditions that make weight-loss difficult to achieve. Some people look at an obese relative and think "I’m condemned!" when in fact, their random, erratic eating is to blame. Without a daily diet routine, obesity is due to food . . . Too much or too often, or both!

Each One of Us Falls into One of Three General Categories:
There are people who are involved in so many activities they can’t set regular meal times. They barely have time to grab a quick snack and only go to bed when they can’t keep their eyes open any longer! They always have the alarm clock set to wake them up to start the madness again. For them, weight-loss seems to be an unrealistic dream;
Some people have a job which consumes at least half of their day but leaves the other half under their own control. They eat breakfast and an evening meal and have a lunch-break at work. They feel they eat well and can’t understand why they’re obese;
Many people don’t have much of a life-goal and if they’re not gainfully employed, they while away the day watching television or playing with a cell-phone to learn what others are doing or did. They snack, doze, gossip and hope for change.
And in each category, many need or want to lose weight. Regardless of which category you’re currently in, if you want to lose weight and regain a healthy body, you must make a plan. Without one, you’ll never reach or maintain your healthy weight. As you absorb the information herein, you should start deciding which of the changes you can adopt and then use them to construct your plan to achieve your goal.
Here are your first options:
You can live just to eat . . . randomly and opportunistically, using the convenience of addictive factory-food to provide dopamine-fueled pleasure. Satiation is never achieved and emotional stress becomes masked by a constant flow of the high-calorie, sugar-laden non-foods – frankenfoods. And the fat will continue to accumulate;
OR:
You can eat to live . . . a long, healthy life based on a planned daily diet of naturally nutritious, satisfying foods with you controlling when and what you eat. Fat-loss and good health are assured.
In this modern world where processed food is effortlessly available twenty-four hours a day, more than 30% of humans are addicted not to any particular food but to the enticing pleasure-sensation
such foods offer. At least another 30% of the population are actually hooked on a specific, processed food and actively search for it. They’re addicted either to the food itself or to the messages telling them where pleasure food is available . . . fast-food billboards, easy-access drive-up lanes, vending machines and fast-moving television ads trigger the pleasure cue
which over-rides common sense. Why would we do something we know will damage our bodies?
Awareness of how your body will suffer by giving in to those cues is the key to maintaining a healthy body.
So, at least 60% of the population of the developed nations are overweight or obese and continue to subject themselves to all sorts of debilitating diseases due to the over-consumption of non-food.
If you’ve been eating opportunistically, with no life-motivation other than to eat fun-food, you might feel the need to eat frequently or whenever you’re bored or lonely. But if you realize that the need for change is urgent, you should plan on a lengthy, overnight fast before embarking on a planned, daily-diet. Fear not. More on that later.
People in the industrialized countries eat far more food than they need to thrive and they discard enough to feed the rest of the world’s starving population.
