The Acceptance Diet Disclaimer
I am not an authority on nutrition, nor am I a doctor of any sort. I am simply a person who struggles with food, weight, and self-image. I am only writing this book to help those who have the same struggle as I do. You may not agree with everything I say in this book, but there will be things in this book, I assure you, which will touch your heart and speak words of encouragement into your life.
The Acceptance Diet Dedication
This book is dedicated to all the girls, (yes, let's call ourselves girls because if we call ourselves women we might age, ha ha!!) To all the girls I've ever shared my heart with, and you know exactly who you are. Thank you for the precious times we spent together sharing our hearts! I love you, each and every one!
Day 1 The Acceptance Diet
This booklet will help you to accept your body the way it was made, and to make it as good as your particular body is able to be. Your body is not another person's body. Do not compare yourself to anyone. You are unique, your shape is your own, your metabolism is your own. Tomorrow we will begin the new regime which you will follow for 30 days. Today is merely an introduction to learning to accept your body, and yourself, as you are. You are not trying to look like a movie star or a model. You are going to make the best of the body you have, and learn to accept yourself. When you look in the mirror, please do not hate yourself. Please decide to like yourself, flaws and all. Every single one of us has flaws, and some people are just very good at covering them up. Which is why you look at them and think they look so great. If you were to pull back the curtain, so to speak, you would see all of their flaws, and realize that you are not as bad as you might think. Please try your hardest not to binge eat in anticipation of tomorrow's new start. Try to commit to being good
today. That is the only thing you have to try to do today, just don't binge eat if that's possible for you. I understand the struggle, I have the same struggle, which is why I am writing this book for you.
