Chinese Pork Dumplings
Cooking Time: 50 m
Servings: 3
Ingredients
50 wonton wrappers (3.5 inch square)
14 ounces ground pork
1-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onion
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon and 1-1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 egg, beaten
2-1/2 cups finely shredded Chinese cabbage
Directions
Combine the pork, green onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, cabbage and egg in a sizable bowl. Stir until mixed well.
Place pork filling 1 heaping teaspoon onto each wonton skin. Moisten edges with water and fold edges to form a triangle shape. Roll edges slightly to seal in filling. Set aside on a lightly floured surface.
Steam dumplings in a metal steamer for about 15 to 20 minutes. Serve immediately.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon
1-1/2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons ketchup
1-1/2 teaspoons honey
1-1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons sake
1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon grated fresh garlic
1/8 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
1/2 pound pork spareribs

Mix
