About this ebook

Breastfeeding Basics is uncomplicated and to the point by design. It provides the basic essential information you will need to navigate the first weeks of breastfeeding and beyond. Breastfeeding Basics intends to provide you with clear and simple information you need to enable you to feel confident that your breastfeeding is progressing well. It answers questions such as how to know your baby is getting enough milk from the breast; how to know if your baby is latched well; information on choosing a breast pump and more. If you were to encounter any breastfeeding issues it is recommended to discuss these with your healthcare provider, midwife or lactation consultant to enable correct diagnosis and management plans to be devised. I wish you well in your pregnancy, birth and parenting journey. Enjoy every moment and remember that the difficult parts do not last forever. My hope is that Breastfeeding Basics takes some of the potential difficulties out of your breastfeeding experience for you.
