We simply love these Colour Me crayon sets from Mighty Small (mightysmall.co.za). They’re R45 per pack of 12, vegan friendly and non-toxic. The triangular shape helps develop efficient pencil grip. Another plus: 5 percent of the profits from your purchase goes towards educating underprivileged children in South Africa.

TIP: To remove a crayon wax stain: Scrape away excess. Harden the wax in the freezer. Shatter the wax. Wash with detergent or dry clean. If stain persists, place fabric between brown paper and iron. The brown paper will absorb the wax. If a colour stain persists, sponge with a 50/50 percent solution of methylated spirits and water. (Thank you, Linen Drawer, for sharing! We love your bedding!)
