    INTRODUCTION

    In order for a clear understanding of what this course is all about, i have to make a clear definition of what is meant by vegetarian ketogenic diet.

    Veganism is a chosen cultural way of eating which involves abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet. A person who does veganism is called a vegan. Vegans avoid foods such as meat, chicken, fish, shellfish, eggs, dairy, honey and foods containing any ingredients that come from animal which could also include Vitamin D3, pepsin, shellac, gelatin, lactic acid, etc.

    A Vegan means a person (vegetarian) who does not consume any food from dairy products such as meat or eggs that comes from animal.

    Vegetarians chose to eat this way because:

    They want to improve health

    They want to prolong life

    They want to lower disease risk and

    They want to lose weight.

    For the purpose of weight loss, I extend the definition to how a person can eat to lose weight and that's called ketogenic diet.

    Ketogenic diet is a type of diet that forces the body to burn fats rather than carbohydrates in such a way to reduce the weight of the body. Practicing ketosis automatically turns the body into a fat burning engine.

    With all these said, vegetarian ketogenic diet is a way of eating to lose weight, improve proper health, and lower the risk of diseases by avoiding foods that come from animal products.

    A vegetarian eats foods such as:

    Whole grains

    Fresh fruits and vegetables

    Nuts and Seeds

    Beans and Legumes.

    A study of how a vegetarian can eat these foods to lose weight, and maintain a healthy and disease free life has led me to prepare these 100 awesome recipes on VEGETARIAN KETOGENIC DIET .The recipes when properly and carefully prepared and eaten will enable you to attain ketosis
