Marketing 101 for Personal Trainers - Matt Weik
Introduction
Are you looking to start your own personal training business? Or maybe you already have your own or are currently employed and work in a gym or fitness center? There’s no shortage of personal trainers in the market and the fact that you need to compete against them all to build your book of business and bring on more clients can be quite daunting if you aren’t sure what to do. That’s where this book can be utilized and provides you the opportunity to implement certain marketing strategies to build your client base, stand out among your competitors, and create for yourself a profitable business.
For nearly two decades Matt Weik has been working with clients across the globe – both in-person and virtually online. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, sports nutritionist, and personal trainer. Matt has learned many things over the years which led him down the path of opening his own business, Weik Fitness. His passion for the industry and helping people change their habits has won him several awards over the years. Through trial and error, Matt has found what he considers to be the essential marketing strategies to build a profitable personal training business.
By taking the information found in this book and applying it to your personal training business, you will be able to have a competitive edge over your competitors and set yourself apart from everyone else. In an already saturated industry where personal trainers are coming out of the woodwork, you can find your schedule staying full with the addition of as many clients as you can take on. With the help of the marketing strategies found in this book, you can keep your pipeline full and the number of prospects reaching out to you endless.
While the marketing strategies found in the book work, nothing will if you don’t. Read and digest the strategies and begin implementing them into your personal training business. I’m not naïve to think that 90% of the people who read this book won’t implement a single thing. Why? Because that’s how the majority of people live their life. Then they’ll complain that their personal training business is not making money and they aren’t sure if they’ll be able to continue at the rate things are going. Don’t be one of those people. Why waste your time and money on something if you have zero plan on implementing anything or following through to help you achieve your dreams? It doesn’t make sense, right? If that used to be you in the past, today is the day for you to make a change in your life. As they say, nothing changes if nothing changes.
