God Will

Who will never forsake you, mislead you or overlook you?

Who will remain the same and never change?

Who will be there for you when others fail to lift you up?

and remind you to try once again and forgive you of your sins?

Who will be there when you are weak and make you strong?

Who will be there when you are lost and lead you in the right direction?

Who will be there when you are hungry and provide food?

Who will be there when you face trials and tribulations?

STOP……

No more questions, because I know that the Almighty above will always take care of you

He will never forsake you, betray you or lie to you although the world does not understand Him and the schools do not know how to explain Him

God is our STRENGTH, JOY, COMFORT, FOUNDATION, and COURAGE

and most of all He is UNMOVED, UNDEFEATED AND NEVER UNDONE

My Grandmother

When I think of her I envision a queen on a throne

A woman who is gifted with knowledge and wisdom

Always taking care of her own

She is my protector, my teacher, my role model and my best friend

Looking over me and guiding me through the thick and the thin

Because she never pretends
