Eva Fry

Eva Fry has dedicated her life to helping troubled kids. She began her program Be a Winner in Life at Juvenile Hall in San Diego in 1994 and has spoken to over 10,000 incarcerated kids, aged ten to eighteen. Eva was raised in a troubled home with an alcoholic father and emotionally disturbed mother. She understands the pain many of these young people have experienced and the wrong choices so many of them make. She shares with them how she broke the destructive life cycle of her family and began a new healthy cycle for her own children and grandchildren. This book is a result of her desire to teach children and their parents the secrets to successful living and to keep kids away from choices, which destroy their future and their potential. She hopes to support parents and help them keep their kids on the straight and narrow. Her goal is to save our younger generation from the evil path so many are following. Eva Fry lives in San Diego California with her husband, Al, of 44 years.

    About The Author

    PREFACE

What if God sent you to earth to become the greatest doctor the world has ever known? What if He implanted dreams in your heart to lead you toward becoming a doctor and to get you excited about your potential?

But what if there is a negative force in life, which wants to stop you from reaching your potential and talks you out of living your dreams? It tells you, in your mind, that you’re not smart enough or good enough to become a doctor. What if you believe those thoughts and give up your dreams? How would you feel when your life was over and you discovered what you could have become?

God has sent each of us here to do amazing things with our lives, but there is a negative force out there intent on stopping us from reaching our potential. We have a purpose and were given gifts and talents to accomplish our mission, but in order to make our contribution we must first develop ourselves and fight against the evil opposition. It is our responsibility to discover our gifts and talents and use them to reach our highest potential and to do good in the world.

These gifts and talents we have been blessed with can often be found when we pursue the dreams of our hearts. Dreams are vital because they get us excited about our lives and motivate us toward what we are to become and what we should do with our lives. Our dreams must be important to us, and we must pursue them if we are to be happy and successful.

Too many of us don’t take our dreams seriously and often dismiss them as being impossible or foolish. Many of us believe that the only people who can have success in the world are the gifted, talented people who excel in some area—the sport stars, the entertainers, or the so-called intelligent ones. We don’t even make an attempt to do what is in our heart. We believe we don’t have a chance of attaining our dreams; because we think we are not good enough, we don’t even try.

We cheat ourselves if we don’t strive toward our own potential. We are all gifted in our own way. Each of us is a genius and can do something better than anyone else. We must live our dreams to find our own genius and accomplish our own mission.

Our accomplishments are to be used to help others. Even though we may think of ourselves as average, and that we don’t have much to offer, we do. We owe it to ourselves and to God to do our best and to reach our own potential, whatever that is. If we do, we will feel good about ourselves; our lives will have value and we’ll be happy.

    Disclaimer:

The principles I will share with you are my perceptions and beliefs, what I have learned so far in my life. Although I do not claim to have all the answers and know that I am still learning, I hope some of these principles will help you. We are in this earthly progression together and can help each other along the way.

    CHAPTER 1

    YOU CAN LIVE YOUR DREAMS!

We are going to go on a journey of self-discovery so you can start living your dreams!!!!!

Ask anyone who is already living their dreams how they did it; they will tell you it happened because they believed in themselves, worked hard and
