Dr. Judy L. Smith is a Bible preacher, teacher, counselor, mentor, and author. She shares the pastorate with her husband, Apostle C. Clifford Smith, 111. She and her husband pastor Southside Christian Church International located in Nassau, on the island of New Providence, Bahamas. She is the founder of Majestic Young Ladies, a mentoring ministry to teenage girls. Dr. Judy holds a bachelor of science degree in biology, a master of arts degree in Christian education, and a doctor of philosophy degree in counseling. She is a trained marriage and family counselor. She is also a certified nutrition and wellness consultant. She is the author of Born to Win: Awakening the Champion in You and Revealing the Princess Within: Affirming the Value of Teenage Girls. Dr. Judy and her husband have two teenage children, Kaitlyn and Caleb.

    Introduction

    L ife is full of possibilities and awesome potential. Opportunities are only a short reach away. God has planned a great life for us, but so many never choose the path of His will. Some fail to cooperate with His plan and others never get close enough to him to find out what his plan for them is. However, there are those who understand that they do not have to choose to be ordinary, grab on to life with enthusiasm and optimism. What makes the difference?

    Individuals who have learned how to live at the level of exceptional, have discovered happiness, fulfillment and contentment. They make the most out of where they are now and push toward moving from one accomplishment to another. They refuse to remain in a state of dormancy and complacency. They never allow themselves to be held back. You can do the same. Despite challenges, you can be that exceptional person.

    You do not have to go through life with your head hung down or focus on the negative. There is no reason to feel inferior or inadequate. You do not have to allow negative persons to dictate to you, making you feel less than. You can be the awesome, wonderful person God created you to be. You have to choose to be great. Through wisdom and determination you can step unto the level of exceptional: a level of joy and satisfaction.

    You do not have to dwell in the world of I will never be…, or Maybe one day I will… You have the power and ability to become who you’re supposed to, now. No one knows what tomorrow holds, but we can make today work in our favor.
