Dedication
I dedicate this book to my dear husband who stood by me and watched me grow into the woman I have become today. His unfailing love and patience have stimulated the best part of me. He has made me realize that life is deeper than I thought or think. He taught me how to trust in the only true God without fret or threat in spite of the storms around me, and because of the confidence and the strong faith he deposited in me, I was able to go through major phases of life and come out stronger and wiser. I also want to dedicate this book to all the people out there facing different phases of life; I would encourage you to go through them and come out stronger for it did not come to kill you but to make you into your divine purpose. Face the phase in faith
.

A very big thank you to Evangelist Efosa Iy for your words of encouragement during my difficult moments. Once again, thank you and God bless you all.
Preface
The very thing that gives a man the ability to rise above life challenges is self-discovery. There is this feeling of fulfillment you suddenly embrace in you when you finally discover the reason why you are here on earth and what you are here for. Living the opposite of what you are meant to be in reality can be as living in a shadow. The transition in the early stage of life and the experiences of different phases of life have many lessons attached to them and those lessons can better and enable you to reach the next level in life. Statistics have proven that most individuals who have experienced success in one way or the other have gone through different phases before attaining the level they are today. You would agree with me that some have gone through horrible experiences that only God could deliver them from. Some were rejected and mocked at some point in time and no one could reckon with them until they found their feet. This book is designed as a tool to strengthen you through the challenging phases of life, knowing that you can go through it and come out stronger, wiser and better.
I am sure, even right now, somebody somewhere is going through challenges and does not know who to speak with in order to be encouraged on how to
move to the next level of life. Someone is confused and depressed right now because of some terrible situation and someone is emotionally bankrupt at this very moment, not knowing who to trust. You are the reason for this book; this book is here to empower you to come out of that state and be positioned into purpose. What you are going through is as a result of what you have inside of you. I am here to tell you that all of the phases you have been through will bring you into a place of divine purpose and fulfillment.
This book is a guide written to build you up on how to enjoy the process as you go through the journey of life using this effective tool. This book talks about how you can be a better you from the inside through the phases you face in life and how different phases of life experience can help you discover the real you inside of you, which is the person God wants to bless and use for the kingdom and for humanity.
Although you may have gone through traumatic situations that might have brought you to a state of devaluing yourself, you can actually stand out and take your place by using the power of prayer and guiding your heart, forgiving yourself and those that hurt you and, most importantly, spreading unconditional love that will facilitate the healing and mending of your broken heart.

Rejection
H
ave you ever been in a position where you worked so hard to earn something you desired and, in the long run, you were denied? I’m talking about the kind of joy you feel when you are expecting to climb to the next level of your life only for you to be denied the opportunity of experiencing what you longed for. It is not always easy when you've been denied or rejected; it can make you feel as if the whole world is crashing down on you, especially when your whole expectations were based on it. I’m talking about a position where you had or have questions to ask and it seems like there are no answers to suit or satisfy your questions.
I am talking about rejection. I have experienced rejection in the early stage of my life and it wasn’t an easy experience to deal with but God’s grace and mercy found me.
Rejection is the act of not giving someone the love and attention they want and expect. Rejection, however, could also be seen as refusing or denying someone what he/she is passionate about. Rejection is not always planned, so for that reason, people get triggered when it eventually occurs. Oftentimes, rejection occurs differently and it depends on how one responds and handles the situation how fast you come out of it because it’s not a safe place to stay.
I did not have the opportunity to grow up in the same house with my biological parents because of marital issues due to another woman and I was taken in by a relative at the age of nine. Life was beautiful until I found myself outside my home. To cut a long story short, I lived there until I was just about taking my college exams to go into university and at the peak of that, I was rejected and asked to leave the house for some reason. I was shattered because I knew life was going to be hard on me as my mum was struggling, in a one-bedroom apartment, to care for my five siblings who, at the time, were younger than I.
Being the oldest, I helped my mum in her petty business in order to survive. I knew in my spirit that it was temporal; I had the mentality of never giving up despite what surrounded me. In the midst of it all, God kept us.
When you are rejected, it doesn’t mean that it's the end of the world, it only means that you are too good for the position you are in. Therefore, move out of there and get a better place that suits you. Unfortunately, people don’t think in this way when they experience rejection of any kind. The truth is, rejection makes you think out of the box and it also makes you stand your ground and work harder to become your dream. When people reject you, it means you have the capacity to work out other means of livelihood. Most significantly, you have to believe in your ability and trust God for a better you. If, in any way, you have felt or are feeling rejected, it means that you have outgrown that environment and it also means that the environment no longer needs you because you have done what ought to have been done by you. It is important you move forward and stop feeling disappointed and devastated because it was all orchestrated for your growth for the next level of your life.
Rejection can be so devastating and depressing; it’s like hoping for something that suddenly got shattered.
When you go through this phase of life, it means there is something inside of you that is yet to be discovered.
Rejection builds you up emotionally and makes you think differently from how you used to think. It helps you to broaden your understanding and search for other strategies and solutions that suit you better.
Being rejected by anything doesn’t mean you are not fit or you do not deserve what you desire as the world may presume it; it means that there is another side of you that is yet to be discovered.
