In the 20 plus years that Ive known Peronia PC Canidate she has never waited for others. She has always lead the way to change. She continues to seek out ways to share her many God given gifts and talents. Most recently she started Wisdom Works 4 U, Saturday Jewels and is now a certified Life Coach (in truth shes been a life coach for me and more people than I can count for years, but now shes certified). One of the things that I have learned from my many deep discussions with PC is that you cannot change people. In fact, it is not your place or your job to do so, but you can inspire them with your actions and share with them the wisdom youve gained through experience. PROLOGUE

When I started working on this project, I was going in a very different direction. My life had been touched by a model project that inspired me, and I wanted to use that model to make a difference in others’ lives.

I was still unable to see who I am and the vision that was mine—not as others had seen it, but as God saw me! When I panicked because the line I threw out was not attracting fish, I knew that clearly I was either not using the right line and the right bait or I was fishing in the wrong stream.

I found myself full of turmoil, and my inner fears and panic took over. I kept trying to understand why my attempt to move forward was so difficult. Then one night I fell asleep, and in the early morning hours, I had a dream.

In the dream, I was sobbing, and I asked God, Why won’t they help me? Why can’t I get them (all the people I had contacted) to get excited about this? Then in my dream, there was a quiet calm, and a voice whispered, It’s not their vision; it is your vision—start there and cultivate it! I was awakened, and the questions began. What if this is by theme and not by month or day? What if any person on any day can pick up the book and flip to the theme they need for that moment, that day, or that afternoon? What if it’s anytime, anywhere appropriate for any person?

I started to feel a new exuberance and understood that I was back on track.

The book is indexed by theme. Each theme has a beginning quote and an end quote with seven entries in between. You may use the end pages in each section to note your favorite quote or favorite message. You may also make personal notes or special messages to yourself for future reference.

May each entry offer you a unique moment for quiet, thought-provoking respite.

I have always been clear on my life purpose. The challenge has been understandable—that it is not my responsibility to force-feed. We are all on a journey, and I had to understand that no matter how excited I am about a subject or the space I’m in, others may not see what I see or even be interested to see what I see. My responsibility is to live my capacity—sending out the gifts that I am blessed to give. Where it falls and who it falls upon is up to those who choose! It is important to love one another as God has loved us, and His love has always allowed us choice.

This was, and is, my greatest lesson in doing this project.

So I give to you, from my center, words and thoughts that may guide or enhance the lives of those who find this book of encouragement in front of them. It was written and offered in love for you!

May He who is the magnificence of the universe in infinite power and wisdom bless and keep you always!

The Creator’s gift to us is who we are… we come with a special design to do special things. We are builders, teachers, doctors, painters, dancers, violinists, and politicians. The key is to figure out where your passion lies. Many of us choose a path because it looks great and comfortable on someone else. S/he is so great at that!
