REVIEW OF THE WEEK:
Confidence After Abandonment, by Rachel_Noah88, 5 Stars
This podcast is exactly what I needed. When my childhood "best friends" began to ignore me and exclude me from gatherings without explanation, I fell into a very dark place. I began to blame myself for the loss of the relationships and I obsessively replayed every interaction I had with them, over the 20 year period, over and over in my mind. I not only lost all my confidence, but I became very insecure. It caused me to lose all my trust in my other healthy relationships in my life and I began to hurt those that loved me most. Then, I found Trish. Trish's encouraging spirit is beyond inspiring, and I love her ability to relate life situations to the word of God. She allowed me to gain confidence in my body image, my career, and most importantly, myself and my relationships with others. I would love to hear more on "how to be confident after abandonment," because although therapy and Trish have helped me a lot, I still have a long way to go. Love you, Trish!
WHAT INSPIRED THIS ON MY HEART:
And idea is where we all start.
But to take it to a dream, means we have to believe in it.
Then, to next level the dream to actualization of it, goals need to be put into place.
My job as a coach is to call you up to your highest self.
It is to tell you the truth and show you were you aren't being specific.
When we aren't specific, we will wander.
When we wander, we will get mediocre results and experiences.
Your Belief System matters.
Do you belief that you were created for more?
All Beliefs Create (ABC) something.
Believe that you matter.
Believe that you have purpose.
Believe that you can awaken passion.
Believe that you can be adventurous as you chase what you want.
If you don't know what you want, you won't know what to go after - and you'll live a life of average drabness. You were made for more.
---- > the number of people who come to me and simply don't know what they want or what they are passionate about is astounding. Do not be discouraged if you find yourself in this category --- culture has taught us to follow the check-boxes. It's time to stop drifting and to start taking control of what you are willing to dream and design for your life.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DREAMS AND GOALS?
Goals are something you are acting on.
Dreams are something you are just thinking about.
Goals have deadlines.
Dreams are loosy goosey.
Goals have a cost.
Dreams are free.
Goals produce results.
Dreams don't.
Goals can change your life.
Dreams can inspire you.
Goals have a focus.
Dreams don't.
Dreams can inspire you, but goals can change your life.
Goals do come true.
