Ben learns to fly

It’s a mild spring morning in the woods. There is a large nest high up on a tall tree. Three weeks ago little buzzard Ben hatched from his egg. Ben lives in the nest with his mother, father and little sister Julie.

The nest is made of twigs, grass and yellow Buttercups. Ben looks out of his nest. He sees golden fields of corn, green meadows and woods. Papa, Papa, I want to finally learn how to fly, says Ben and flaps his wings. "Hee-eeh... hee-eeh. Yes, Ben, I have promised it to you. Today we will practice flying.

So jump on the edge of the nest and start flapping your wings, just as I
