Think and Be Smoke Free! - Shawn Mossell
Recap
Preface
As I first thought about writing this book and its possible impacts, I had in mind that cigarettes had just robbed a great family and a lovely neighborhood of a father. His wife, his children, the whole family lost a wonderful soul. So as you read this, remember how important it is that you take steps not to follow in that sad path. Whatever works to help you stop is what you must do. If you follow the path outlined in this book, soon you will be able to say, I am smoke free.
Thank you for buying this book. Thank you and congratulations. You’ve taken a strong positive step toward ending your smoking habit. This book and the accompanying three audio tracks are based on thousands of sessions I’ve conducted with people just like you who wanted to quit smoking. Not only have they quit smoking and stayed as happy nonsmokers, but many have told me they also have seen marked improvements in other aspects of their life.
The text, because it is taken directly from the transcript of actual counseling sessions, should feel somewhat like a personal session between you and me. It has of course been modified to make it appropriate for print, but still, I hope you view it as your own personal counseling session. You may want to reread it many times. And remember, it’s helped tens of thousands before you successfully achieve their goal of becoming cigarette free. It can help you too.
After this simple process has freed you of smoking, reread the book with other life challenges in mind and determine how you can apply this process to those as well.
Before You Begin
As part of your purchase of this book you are given three audio files. You will need to download them to your computer or dedicated storage device so they’re readily and conveniently available for your frequent use. To do this, go to www.iamsmokefree.com where you will find three links with this audio material.
The password to download the links is: iamsmokefree. Please keep these tracks with this book or with the device on which you’ll play it.
The material on these audio files is an integral and critical part of this process to stop smoking. Your use of this content will greatly enhance your success with the process. Throughout this document, we’ll use the terms audio file, meditation, relaxation, focused daydreaming interchangeably.
This booklet provides you with a road map to a cigarette-free life. The accompanying audio files are the fuel for your journey. They will focus the energy that is within you.
Now, let’s proceed.
*Background sound for these audios is used with permission of Silva Mind Control, Laredo, TX.
Chapter 1
Your Goal
Your goal, of course, is to stop smoking. Now and forever. If you follow the process provided in this book and accompanying audio files, the odds of you succeeding are extremely great. But beyond just quitting cigarettes, we plan to help you do so in a manner that has no negatives and several other positive elements.
What I’ll discuss, and you will master, you are going to use not just to stop smoking, but for many other aspects of your life as well: for attracting what you want in your life, for fulfilling your needs, your desires, your goals.
But before we get too far into this, I’d like to spend a few minutes to help you understand why you were smoking even though you didn’t want to, and why we’re going to consciously start programming the subconscious not to smoke.
People say, Oh, it’s the one cigarette.
No, it’s the one puff. That’s all it takes.
Because then
