On the anniversary of being 8 years smoke-free, I wanted to write about it. I am absolutely thrilled to have maintained freedom from smoking and want to share the secrets of my success. It is my sincere hope others can be inspired by my experience and my thoughts and that they can also enjoy this freedom.
Over the years, I have recommended Allen Carr’s book, The Easy Way to Stop Smoking, to countless smokers, because that book helped me immensely. Not only did it help me to become free of the curse of nicotine and slavery to cigarettes, it helped me do so with happiness and joy!
Like Carr’s book, my book is not going to scare you into quitting. My single, solitary cautionary mention is right here and right now and fully contained within this paragraph. I will simply remind you that cigarettes contain not only tobacco and nicotine, but also chemicals. You knew this. I just want to bring it to the forefront of your mind and keep it there. I won’t delve into what the chemicals do to your body. I want to simply remind you that you are not just injesting tobacco with addictive nicotine, but literally thousands of chemicals including formaldehyde, aresenic, amonia, carbon monoxide and more.
It’s amazing this is even on the market and for sale to people.
