ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I give gratitude to the Creator for answering questions in my dreams and to my Angels for sending me so many smokers from whom to learn. I extend grateful thanks especially to my sagacious husband Joe, of 70 years, his open mind and late night snacks ‘I closed my self in my office for days on end because I couldn’t stop writing, This just flowed like a flood".
Thanks to all my clients who shed so much light on the problems of smokers. To Michael O. Turner, thank you for your extensive -research and insight on the problems of so many smokers. Also I must thank our next door neighbor Doctor Merrald Turner,(Michal’s father) for sharing how he helped wounded soldiers in World War II; for stress and pain management, whenever there was no medication available on the battle field at the time. Now - explained later in this book. Last, but not last but not least, I thank Susan Smith for being there at the exact time I needed this important information to share with the world.
CHANGE COMES ONE STEP AT A TIME
Footsteps pounded the pavement in a hypnotic rhythm. The thunder of runners caught my attention. Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud. The odor of burning tobacco stung my nostrils. In the dream, millions of smokers chased after me with over-exaggerated, torch-like cigarettes. A menacing cloud of blue-grey smoke hung above like a powerful thunderhead. The smokers demanded release. I was afraid. I felt their pain. I ran to my laptop and opened it. Bling! Cha klang. Out fell a key. As it rang on the pavement, the cigarettes burst like piñatas into bright neon fragments. The mob stopped, took a deep breath and sighed with relief. Once again, they could breathe.
48143.pngT hat dream drove me to write again. I had to do it. I began the next day. I’ve interviewed prospective nonsmokers for 37 years in order to create personal scripts for self-hypnosis, which helped them quit. Most clients usually proclaimed, in sheer desperation, that hypnosis was their last resort. I must share my professional insight with the millions who want to be free of smoking.
This unique approach has a little bit of something for everyone. My goal is to help relieve the pain felt by smokers and their loved ones. This method will help set you free, free from unearned pain and unhealthy guilt.
Having devoured author H. Nuwer’s book on query letters, How to Write Like An Expert About Anything,
the notion of this book hit me in the forehead, knocked my computer glasses off, and grabbed my brain and shook it until my inner child listened.
If you’ll forgive a personal question - do your eyes bulge? they do if you are one of the country’s 53 million cigarette smokers. Federal studies indicate that 47.7 million people are searching for a way to stop smoking,
read one of the book’s letters from E. Michaud.
Wow! It hit me like a ton of broken asphalt, stopped me in my tracks. Almost 48 million people are searching for a way to quit smoking. I’ve helped thousands of smokers quit with these methods. I improved the methods as I worked with an even greater clientele as a professional hypnotist.
For years this method remained tucked away in my files, hidden for our success for non-smoking. I only shared the information with students and clientele. Now, it’s time to open my files
