About this ebook

Shaun Clavert never expected to find Eliana Monroe living next door. The much older women with one leg quickly captured his interest, and taught him the wonders of her body. They both knew it would not last, but enjoyed it to the fullest. Vicki Logan stopped at the pharmacy where he worked, and hinted about a possible amputation. A co-worker, Nora Blair teased him about the reason.

About the series

All her life, Dr. Sabrina Ruiz, MD had known there was a problem with her left leg, though doctors would not have found anything wrong. Even in high school, she felt that it should not be a part of her body, and at times hated having it so much she would fantasize about engineering an accident to force the amputation. Seeing amputees heightened the problem, leaving her dysfunctional for days.

Sabrina moved from one hospital to another chasing men she thought she wanted to be with, but never with any success. When she finally married Ignacio Ruiz, she was happy for a year before he died from a massive heart attack. She was nearly fifty, and it was more than she could bare. A lifetime of hiding her desire to be an amputee came out in a violent rage over a few weeks. She quit her practice and traveled, eventually finding her way to Mumbai, India.

At a bar one night, she met Dr. Alfred Wood, MD. He quickly said that he was not interested in women, yet the fact that she was also an orthopedic surgeon fascinated him. Over several days, she confessed her desires. He mentioned some recent research into the condition. After the amputation, Sabrina joined Alfred in his practice. The hospital agreed to continue offering surgery for patients like Sabrina.

Peggy Buxton

Author, wife, lover, and amputee. I have been missing my left leg for years. Growing up I felt that it should not be there, and it is has been a blessing to have it gone. Today's term for this condition is BIID and in the past simply referred to as being a 'wannabe'. I am a full-time crutch user. Like my husband, I find amputees fascinating. 'Devotee' is the frequently used term. My stories have characters that mirror my life in some manner - wanted/needed to be an amputee or want to live with an amputee. I make no apology for my descriptions of these people and there is no intent to take away from the suffering of some amputees. I love feedback on the stories, but I cannot promise to reply.

Neighbor, Sabrina Ruiz, Surgeon - Peggy Buxton

    Chapter 1 - Meeting Eliana

Shaun Clavert loved sneaking peaks of his neighbor. She was probably in her mid-sixties, but he did not mind the forty-year difference. He would hurry home from his crappy job at Manning’s Pharmacy in Northwood with hopes of seeing her out in the yard tending to her flowers. She made no effort to hide that she was missing all of her right leg. Sometimes she wore jeans with the pants leg tailored over that hip, a few times he had seen her with spandex pants also tailored. He wondered what she looked like undressed.

Hi, young man, she said in a soft, sensual tone as she turned off the water to the hose.

Hello, he sheepishly said knowing he had finally been caught looking. He walked along the sidewalk and across her front lawn. Sorry.

What on Earth for? She introduced herself as Eliana Monroe, shaking his hand politely.

He introduced himself. I just moved into one oh three. He pointed.

I own this duplex, but live in the left-hand side. Do you go to school?

I graduated from high school two years ago, then community college. I work at the pharmacy. He pointed up the street.

She walked to the porch steps and sat on the top one. She looked at Shaun looking at her. She patted the step next to her and invited the handsome young man to have a seat.

Are you married? he said, unable to think of anything else to ask.

I was, before I lost the leg. Herbert decided he did not want a wife missing one. As far as he was concerned, I might as well have lost my face...or head.

    Wow.

Yeah; I never expected that kind of reaction. We’d been together a few years. I don’t know whatever happened to him. For all I know, he dropped off the face of the Earth.

I don’t think I would have walked away.

Have you known any amputee women?

No, ma’am. I’m just saying it seems such a minor thing to break up over.

Have you been in any serious relationships?

No, ma’am...I haven’t. I’ve dated a few girls, but nothing has taken hold. The longest was about a month. She ran off with an older man.

Probably was having some wickedly great sex with him. Eliana laughed.

I guess. She kissed me, even with some tongue. Once I copped a feel of her breasts.

Never got to home plate, huh? She snickered. Or had some blow jobs.

    Nope, guess not.

Honey, you’d know it if you had any blow jobs.

One girl gave me a hand job, but wouldn’t let me return the favor.

    Why not?

Hell if I know. He groaned. I did get to suck her nipples. That was hot.

I remember the first time I jacked a man off. Whew. I must have been in my early-twenties.

    Why’d you wait so long?

Girls just didn’t do that back then. The sixties changed many things for women. It all happened quickly for me. We were smoking some pot one night, a bunch of friends and me. She rubbed her chin, reflecting on something. Bobby, Susan, and I were just grooving on some new record...’Dark Side of the Moon’ maybe. We had a big bag of weed. Compared to what you get today it was horrible, but back then we all thought it was good...mellow stuff, you know. Susan started undressing, got all naked. Bobby was rock hard in a blink. She unzipped him and began cranking on his shaft. I didn’t want to be left out, so I undressed and joined in. We took turns sucking him until he couldn’t take it anymore. The man came, and came. God, I’d forgotten all about it until just now.

    Did you do that again?

Not that night, but a few nights later we did. We did it for a few more nights then we took turns having real sex. Susan and I were on the pill, just in case, so we felt safe. Bobby was good, but what did we know. He was our first.

    Virgins?

Oh, yeah. Before then, that was considered important because guys wouldn’t marry someone who wasn’t...called them whores, sluts, and worse.

    That’s silly.

Yeah; I know. Bobby had a friend. Jake was missing a leg. He had cancer, and the leg was off at the hip...like mine. I’d seen other men missing limbs...mostly ‘cause of the Vietnam war. We were all protesting it, but still they kept sending boys over there and they’d came back dead or in pieces. Jake joined us one night...two guys and two girls. We had the craziest sex. It was the first time I kissed a girl, and more. Jake and Bobby were having at each other, too. Of course, we all took turns with each other.

    Are you a lesbian?

For a long time after, I wondered. Maybe I was...am a little. Sometimes I feel a need for female flesh, but I guess I’m really pretty straight.

What happened between you and Jake?

I moved in with him not long afterwards. I think I was fascinated with him having one leg. He walked with crutches, and did things about as well as any two-legged person.

    The right leg?

Nah. She pointed at her left leg. He was really cool about the whole thing. Even bought me a pair of crutches so I could walk like he did. At first, only around the apartment, but then we started going out at night that way.

What’d you do with your leg?

He showed me how to bend it at the knee, wrap it with an elastic bandage, and shove it in my jeans. Back then, my legs were skinny, my body was too, she chuckled, so it looked just like my leg was amputated at the knee.

    No one said anything?

We’d go places where no one knew us. Strangers didn’t have the guts to confront me. I saw one vet missing a leg that stared, but then he just went about his business.

Did you ever think you’d lose a leg?

"Honestly, I wondered back then if I would, or if I could. Around Jake, it all felt so okay. We’d get stoned and make love while I had one leg. Yeah; it was nice."

    Why’d you split with Jake?

We’d been together for over a year, when one night he got hit by a car while crossing the street. Died at the scene. I was at work. I had a job as a waitress. I was crushed, hurt so badly I didn’t have the heart to pretend anymore that I had one leg. I didn’t for nearly thirty years. She looked at Shaun. Can I get you something to drink...Coke, 7-Up?

    Either would hit the spot.

He held the door open then followed her inside. The living room was neat, nicely furnished in the American Craftsman style, matching the architectural details of the house. He continued behind her, enjoying the sight of her single leg in stark contrast to the complete lack of the other.

You walk well. Is that because you used to pretend?
