About this audiobook
How do you define happiness? Is happiness a place, or a destination? If it is, how do you get there? This book will help you understand that happiness is not a place at all, but rather a state of mind or a conscious decision you must make for yourself. No one can give you happiness, and no one can take it away.
Take a moment to determine how important happiness is to you. If it is not that important, then you have nothing to worry about. Just be satisfied with the way you probably are: unhappy.
If happiness IS important to you, then there is room for improvement! Happiness is the glue that holds our lives together. Happiness, or the pursuit of it, is what gives us hope. Happiness and joy give our lives meaning, and keeps us going when things get rocky. If you are not happy, then it’s time to figure out what it will take to get you there!
Inside "Be Happy!", you will learn how you define happiness, the science of happiness, the risk of being a people pleaser, and how you can develop a happiness mindset. It will also explain why you may feel like you do not deserve happiness and will help you take steps to change your thought processes. Learn how to find your passion and purpose, how to turn a bad situation around, and how to embrace change.
Filled with wonderful analogies, this book will help you take steps to start improving your life, right now.
Towards the end, you’ll learn a simple self-hypnosis technique and how to share the love with the "pink bubble" and start changing your life today, one conscious decision after another.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A nice little self-help book that aims at increasing your happiness.I cannot really comment yet on whether it'll really have a lasting effect on my level of happiness since that is a long-term question, so only time will tell...I did really like the book. The set-up is clear and easy to follow, and the book gives a lot of tips and exercises to help you improve your well-being. The tips and exercises make sense and I think this hands-on type of approach can really help people who are feeling down and are looking for ways to get happier. I will definitely be trying the tips and exercises myself.Keeping the book short and to the point means that you don't have to spends hours reading and studying it, yet it contains quite a lot of information. It also has some tips for further reading which is very useful.Definitely a book that I would recommend to anyone who feels they can be happier.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Be Happy! How to Stop Negative Thinking, Start Focusing on the Positive, and Create Your Happiness Mindset by Nicole Fisher I so love this little book because it made such a huge impact on my life. Plain talk and simple suggestions throughout laced with words of compassion and encouragement really helped me to pinpoint the places where I was causing my own unhappiness and I especially liked the discussion on the phrase "I'll be happy when ..." cause I have said it my whole life. And now at almost 60, I am coming to understand that "when" depends on me. I got a lot out of learning about my HQ also. I would recommend this impressive little number to anyone wanting help to bring happiness from the inside out. Thanks Nichole, it all makes so much sense.Love & Light,Riki Frahmann
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I received "Be Happy" as a Early Reviewer PDF. This book annoyed me from the start, before I even received my copy I was bombarded with emails from the company Empowerment Nation to join them in reading future books. "Be Happy" seemed more of a speech to someone than a self help book. It was constantly repeating itself and getting to preachy for my taste. Some of the solutions are good and some are just BS, because no matter how hard you try or want to change your situation it's not always possible. "Be Happy" needs more scientific facts, editing and tested true research.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I received this as an Early Reviewer copy in a PDF format so I think there is still time for the author to make some revisions. It read to me more like an undergraduate term paper rather than a substantive book. The author defines happiness and the things that make us unhappy and then gives some suggestions for how to "BE HAPPY!" It is a good basic book on the subject, and it might be good for someone just finding out who they are, but it doesn't have a ton of meat to it. I also did not like the part on "self-hypnosis" that did not really seem to me like hypnosis. I would leave that part out or change the wording. The book has potential, and maybe it is worth the $2.99 price on Amazon (or free for Prime users lending library). It needs more development, but it might be just enough for someone just beginning their journey on the road to self-awareness.
