About this audiobook

I was raised to live a pampered life, and now it can never be mine.

As the omega who never manifested, I became the family secret. That is, until a wealthy alpha makes me a deal: Marry him and pretend to be his pack omega so he receives his inheritance. After six months, I’ll get my money and live out the rest of my life in peace.

But the deception is wearing thin—someone knows I’m not who I pretend to be. The threats to expose us get more intense, bringing my temporary mates and I even closer.

And as I start to see just how hard they're willing to fight for me, I find myself asking: Is this the happily ever after I’ve been searching for?

This was such a fun version of an omega journey. B&JB are such a great narrating duo. And Jake did such a great job making all 3 males different in their own way. The epilogue was the best ending!!

I really tried to like this book but the story felt untethered. I liked the characters but overall story felt super slow in parts and the rushed in others. Narration was great as usual

I saw another one of the Bonds of Steel Omegaverse standalones on Scribd and I couldn’t resist after I loved book 2 of the series. This one upped the ante and I fell for these characters even more than I did the other story. I really liked the concept of this one, I love when music and singing can be brought into a storyline haha. I do wish the author did push a little more with that and added more to that complexity of the storyline because we didnt get to see more of that towards the end or even in the epilogue, but that would be my only critique. I just wanted more because I loved these characters ❤️

I really enjoyed the dynamics with the guys and our beta pretending to be an omega. I felt so bad for what she has had to do because of her horrible mother and the society’s unfair treatment of omegas. I loved how things progressed and how she slowly brought them into her heart (I loved the hints for the big reveal along the way haha). The personalities of the guys were fabulous. Heart definitely goes out to adorable beta, Roadie, who was a little more dominant in the bedroom than I expected (all in a good way!) Winn had to keep apologizing since he had an emotional range of a teaspoon sometimes haha. He had no clue how to handle feelings but the guys helped him see the error of his ways and the way he had to make it up to Sapphire was awesome haha. Jasper I thought was going to be my least favorite because of how he started off but once you find out why he does the things he does, it all made sense. The way he is there for Sapph from the very beginning, even without realizing it, how he finally realized how upset she was and alone and tried to be there while still protecting his pack. I also really enjoyed the sexy scenes, esp some of the group numbers ?. I also enjoyed Sapphire as a main character. Sometimes we got some repetitive internal monologue from her or she was a little oblivious to things, but I appreciated her having a backbone with things when she needed to. The side characters were interesting. I was hoping to have more from the stuffy ladies we meet, and was intrigued by the one who kinda went toe to toe with Sapphire. I really thought the bad guy was gonna be a certain crazy family member but I got that wrong ?.

Narration was done well, its like a given with this dynamic narration duo haha. I loved the duet aspect, helped really keep the characters alive in my mind as I listened. There were some high tensioned moments in this one that these narrators did a phenomenal job, I didnt want to stop (Winn’s apology, the big reveal at the end with the changes, the threats to the pack/stalker vibes going on and how it impacted Sapph, etc.). These two are already on my automatic listen list, I can’t say enough good things about them ❤️

Overall I really enjoyed this story and wished we could get a follow-up epilogue or future novella so we can see how everyone is doing, may be more singing aspects and the record label, etc.

Loved it! Never read an omegaverse book like it. The narrators were great. Jake did different voices for each character and I love the warmth of Bridget's voice. There are some true LoL moments in this book as well as plenty of spicy scenes. It's not as explicit as some other omegaverse books, but that's ok. The final epilogue is quite hilarious and I would definitely read it again.
