About this audiobook

An undisciplined and disobedient omega brings great shame to a pack. After seeing the consequences of bad omegas, I know that sort of life isn’t for me. Following the path built by my parents will guarantee a good life with loving alphas.

Except my dreams shatter when a typo on my profile lands me with a pack of highly respected, intelligent…and quite a bit older alphas who were expecting someone with experience.

As for me? I’m not exactly flourishing with seductive prowess.

What’s worse? They’re professors at my university. We must keep our matching a secret or risk jeopardizing my final year and their careers. Unfortunately, as things warm up with my upcoming heat, our attraction proves hard to hide. I must embrace these sexy professors’ need to teach me how to be their perfect omega and one helluva knotty lesson.

Get ready to meet the Steele sisters in the Bonds of Steele omegaverse series world. Each book is a standalone and can be read in any order. Knotty Lessons features sweet, protective men, a shy, reluctant female lead, and smoldering-hot knotty times. Please read the author’s note for possible triggers.

This book is everything I expected for a omega verse they had a lot of action spice and everything you would want. It was perfect. I’m ready to read the rest of the books or listen to the rest of the books the narration was perfect.

The male narrator didn’t do it for me and the female narrator was a bit over the top in the intense moments. Didn’t feel authentic.

Went into this not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. I especially enjoyed the narrators and how they switched throughout the chapter not just on specific chapters!

This is my first listen by this author, I went into this series of standalones blind and only knew it was an omegaverse and a different sister was focused on in each book. I listened to the audiobook and knew I was going to like it based on the narrators alone haha. I have listened to a lot of books by them and they always do a good job bringing the characters to life and really digging deep for some of the more emotional moments. Both did that here with all the high octane scenes with the stalker involved and bad things kept happening to the pack or to Scarlett. I will say what would keep me from giving the narrator 5 stars is the accent issues I was hearing. So Ezra had one but not all the time. That would make me think Ezra wasn’t in the scene but he ended up being there (just sans accent). I think if that had been fixed I would have rounded the narration up to 5.

In terms of the story, I love student/teacher tropes (so yummy!!!) and this one did not disappoint. I liked that aspect of the story, I liked how different all the guys were (I did have an issue trying to remember who had what courses haha). I think Ezra was my favorite and Dom was a close second. I love the cuddly ones or the super protective ones haha, and these 2 fit the bill. I also loved the small bits of M/M thrown in and the role reversal for Scarlett as an omega with one of the alphas. I thought the steam was great, good mix with the plot. I wanted to destroy Scarlett’s mother. This was the first book I have read or listened to so I am not sure if one of the earlier books had more about her, but boy I need her to have some karmic justice because she is a horrible individual who deserves al the things coming to her. I also was really upset by her fathers, I don’t think they can be redeemed in my eyes after what the mom put her through and they all just allowed it. I did think some of the storyline was repetitive and I think kinda stalled it too much with the progression.

Overall I did enjoy it, I am already listening to another in the series on audio because I want to know more about these omegas. I would give both the story and narration 4 stars. I loved the play on “older alphas”, I appreciated the different personalities within the harem, and I loved how they supported her (after she had to give them a piece of her mind) and wanted to cherish and protect her. I would die for an group of guys like this one, Scarlett is one lucky lady ?

I like that this book wasn't completely predictable and that it has more than one villain in the story. I also love that the women character wasn't winey for no reason.
