This book was surprisingly good. I avoided it for several weeks even though it was in my to read list because it didn't look interesting but it proved me wrong. The characters are all , main female characters absolutely amazing and the story and the world building are really nice. I hope we figure more out in the second book and my hunch comes true about the human bodyguard?

There are two types of authors that write about mates. Type one writes them strong, passionate with an undying love and type two that thinks writing them being stuck up each other's butts count them as mates. This is type two. To clingy and annoying.
