About this audiobook

I’ve fallen for the alpha’s son … and he left me to die.

I’m the underdog in my own pack, an outcast of the worst kind, and Shane, the cocky alpha heir, doesn’t hide just how much he despises me. Well, the feeling is mutual.

But fate tricks the both of us. Shane and I share a mating bond, and there’s no denying temptation.

That is, until everything changes and our pack is left to ruin. Now I’m held captive, enslaved to another wolf while my mate is nowhere to be found.

I’m told Shane fled and left us behind—left me. All I can think of is getting revenge.

There might be a way to save my pack, but it won’t be easy. Despite once rejecting my love, Shane is coming to claim me.

Heaven help any wolf, witch, or vampire who stands in his way.

Really enjoyed the 1st book of the series, lots of action some romance, good mix of shifters, vampires witches and demons, looking forward to the next book in the series and finding out about this world the author has found

Up until chaper 18 or so it was annoying that she kept saying he left intsead of listening when he said he was taken. After that it was really great and the narrators voice didn't annoy me like the sometimes do.

    DNF at chapter 20
Once Shane started to explain away ever hurtful interaction they had together as a means to mislead his father and "protect her", I couldn't finish. Even if he didn't do anything to her (besides verbally attack her occasionally), he stood by while his friends did regularly. Sounded like he was gaslighting her and she was eating it up. He could have at least apologized for how he made her feel, even if his intentions were "good". He explains it away as him "being young", as if it wasn't just a year ago. A bit disappointed but the story wasn't interesting enough to tolerate the "romance" aspect of the book.

I enjoyed the story and the female narrator. I did not see that ending coming in the epilogue.

13 chapters in, and her insecurity is kinda irritating. She's believing a liar before her mate. I understand she has trust issues, but come on girl, he's literally telling you that he thought everyone was killed and he was imprisoned. So, 3 stars.

I was impressed with this story, plots development, subject matter totally different from what I've been reading. Characters are easily introduced into the genre are new and still can be identified with. I'll have to read on this series again.
