Couldn't get into it and had to stop half way through, story has a lot of promise but quite long winded, and half way through I didn't feel we had got very far, just too many characters that I struggled to relate to or understand

The MMA cage fighting angle was interesting because of its female character, then add in the russin immigrant status in the background information and the story just takes on a new look.

The two main characters don’t meet until half way through the book and don’t talk to each other for the first time until the last hour. In fact, the heroine is incapacitated for 85% of the book. There is shockingly little dialogue. Lots of world building and filler. The writing is strong from a technical standpoint and the premise is great, but the author fails to weave in meaningful dialogue.
