- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is very informative. I have a Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD from childhood trauma. Reading this gave me the incentive to put things in perspective and in a rational format. I intend to share some of this info with my therapist, and put me a solid plan together , to work towards. I'm high functioning, considering my challenges. but I'm always seeking out new relevant information to progress and be the best I can be.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Anger causes me troubles in my relationships all the time, for that reason I have to seek how to handle this big issue and I found this, the cbt book. It has been amazing how works my mind and understanding my anger in so many levels. Today by day I'm a new person applying this.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Sometimes I don’t know how to set my goals in life for my constant feel of danger because anxiety. This book helped me to get that, and to promote the best way to fight against these feelings and how to break through to have a peaceful reformed mind.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5There are so many ways to see the world and cbt is just one of them, like a new pair of glasses to one person to see everything in a new color and forms. A light in the darkness. A new hope is a raisin for those people who the world is off.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5For everyone struggling, there is always a way out of the darkness. the brain is a machine that can be reprogrammed so keep fighting through
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A "must" for anxiety reduction. The author hits it on the head in a simple to read and understand way.
Other CBT programs I have read and listened about sounded almost childish in getting you to think about your thoughts and feelings and being mindful. But these help encourage you to get your life back into your own hands and take control.
After reading this I found a great application that allows me to check my thoughts and identify my moods early on
