About this audiobook

Cade Bradbury. Billionaire island owner, at your service.

I'm not used to people giving me the finger, especially people I've just met.

Especially when I'm standing in front of my own island resort.

So I'm more than intrigued when feisty little Emma Clarke does just that...right after dumping a suitcase full of lingerie onto my sidewalk.

Questionable lingerie.

If this girl is who I think she is, then she's in big trouble.

I won't even bother going to the police to report someone soliciting...er...clients in my resort. I'll run Emma off the island, and enjoy every second of it.

Which is what I tell myself until I actually spend time with her.

Now I'm thinking I might have made a mistake.

I don't want Emma off my island. I want her in my bed.

Which makes me wonder if she planned this every step of the way.

Me chasing her.

Me catching her.

Me falling in love with every inch of her...right down to that naughty finger.

The Billionaire Blooper is a spicy romantic comedy set in the charming small town of Hibiscus Bay. All books in this series are full-length, standalone romances with HEAs and NO cliffhangers and can be read in any order.

Unfortunately this felt like a string of highly unrealistic events with two highly unrealistic characters getting together at a very questionable rate. Like the perfect toxic relationship is about to begin. Also, the other two main characters are so far removed from relatable that those story lines felt like a soap opera or telenovella come to life. A small town girl connecting with a billionaire is already a long stretch to cover—but the remote island with its storms and cacophony of unbelievable events just kept growing. We follow at least 6 plotlines and none truly line up in a meaningful way. I wanted to like it, and the main characters themselves were believable, but their circumstances leaned more to trauma bonding than any romantic love. I love a good fairytale, and this seemed to be a frenetic circus instead.

I don't like to give bad reviews because I feel bad for the writer but this book really lacked.
The characters didn't seem to have an actual storyline to get them together or stay together.
I needed more to make me feel like they actually could like each other- let alone be so passionate about each other, not to mention get to the point of so many grand gestures in the end..
It all felt rushed and random. It had all the check boxes for a great romance novel with a twist but they didn't line up..
I gave up and skipped the last two chapters. maybe that's where the other 5 stars came from.
