- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Why does the author say about meals plans, restriction and compensations in the end of the book?It was supposed to be about intuitive eating, wasn’t it?
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I am so glad to hear from you all about your health care plan. I am not sure if it will work out for me yet.#
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Not the greatest instructions. Intuitive eating is a great way to go, but it felt like the author was encouraging grouping food into bad and good categories by the end. Yikes. Also the narrator stumbled a lot and it drove me crazy.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Contradictory and unrealistic. Nothing but tired advice from someone who has no idea what they're talking about
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I hadn’t heard anything like this before, applying intuition to eating. It’s great, it’s helpful. It has shed considerable light on my own unsatisfactory eating habits and has helped me understand the mysterious behaviors that other’s have around food as well. Eating disorders can be a really sensitive topic, one i have wished to be able to talk about with more vocabulary and understanding. Intuitive eating as a concept is a great tool. I’m definitely enjoying it. But i agree that the narration is poor. The lady has a lovely voice but the random pauses , mispronounced words and lack of proper emphasis within sentences makes it a difficult listen.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I couldn’t finish it because the narrator spoke so terribly. It’s satiety, not “sayetty.” Satiety. SAY-TY-E-TEE. Every single time. Other regularly mispronounced words included “comfortal” instead of comfortable, “farming ham” instead of Framingham, “renumerate” instead of remunerate.
The content seems legit but I’m not inclined to accept the author’s research when she can’t even look up how to say the words she’s using. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this book! So many helpful tips I can implement with my own eating habits! Thank you!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I couldn't finish the book due to the narrator... I found it distracting.
