I do love this series, I'm constantly laughing, it really fits my humour and the narrator has been doing a fantastic job throughout the series. I can't wait to get into the next book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All the way.

Protagonist is a government contactor paid to murder magical creatures (accused by who knows) of crimes with the aid of magic charms and a magic telepathic tiger slave. Yes. It is a slave. Adding insult to injury, she's brutish and kinda dumb. I dislike her as much as the magical community that she terrorizes for the sake of human justice.

This heroine is brutish and only intended in killing anyone not human, she dousn't think much either, what makes people think humans are so grate the damage we do is incredible. Sundari needs a better companion.
Val's behaviour is no different than most humans especially those that have any authority especially trained soldiers.

Just what I have been looking for. The MC is older, sarcastic, funny, and relatable. There is a dragon, a vampire, elves, minotaur blood, the army job and a freaking kraken. The arrogant dragon made me laugh. I always thought they'd behave like that. The elves are dark and evil. The narrator is perfection. Highly recommend! I will continue this series and pursue more from this author.

This is the series that hooked me to Lindsey Buroker books. She has taken fantasy and merged it in with real life in a way that makes you believe that magic happens everyday! I fall in love with the characters she creates. I was sad when this series ended but I keep hope that one day, she will surprise us with another book! Give her a chance and have a listen.
