About this audiobook
Are you sick and tired of being… well, sick and tired? Are you chronically struggling with illnesses like anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, or chronic fatigue? Are you sick of “managing” yours symptoms instead of trying to heal your body?
If so, you’ve come to the right place. The vagus nerve is the longest nerve in your body, connecting almost all of your major organs, from the brain to the colon. The first part of this audiobook will explain the anatomy of the vagus nerve, how it functions in the body, and the different medical theories surrounding its healing power. The second part will explain how this nerve is related to a variety of different health conditions, from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to chronic inflammation. Finally, the third part of this audiobook will feature a number of different exercises and lifestyle techniques to help you stimulate the vagus nerve, activating its healing potential. Chronic exposure to stress, environmental toxins, and processed foods put stress on our bodies and minds in so many different ways.
You now have the knowledge to take back control over your own health and wellness. You no longer have to settle for medical interventions that don’t seem to work for you, nor do you have to depend on medication to keep your body functioning normally.
There is no magic in this audiobook, no pseudoscience. Some of this information will seem incredible or even fanciful to you. Some of this information will sound more like common sense than science. The techniques for vagus nerve stimulation offered here come from all over the world. Some techniques have been practiced by humans for thousands of years, while others are cutting edge therapies that take advantage of modern technology for the benefit of us all. I applaud you for taking charge of your own wellness, and I hope that this audiobook helps you to build a better relationship with your body, your mind, and this most amazing of nerves.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I became interested in learning more about the vagus nerve after I heard Deepak Chopra say that anything that stimulates the vagus nerve is the medicine of the future. This book was informative and easy to understood. I look forward to trying out alllllllll the exercises listed in chapter 5 :)

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a simple to understand explanation of the polyvagal theory. There are a bunch of exercises most of which cost nothing to do. I recommend the book over the audio. The narrator sounds tense and makes me feel tense. But the information is worth it.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Excessive repeating. About 15 min of genuine info, the rest was beating you in the head with same info. It was so bad I thought my iPad was glitching because it was like deja vu every few min. Fast forwarded and heard it again. Skip to the last chapter. The one that is very long.
