I love the setting and I really liked her other book, The Weekend Away. Plus, I just love thrillers. It started a bit slowly, but I absolutely love the ending and the message of this book! Highly recommend.

Oh WOW!! Great Great GREAT Book! I am so happy I actually gave this one a chance. I admit I LOVE the British accent - but at times they can be too strong for me to enjoy due to lack of understanding the dialogue - not in this case - it was fairy tale perfect! I loved it!
OK as for the actual story - I was SO SHOCKED and never saw the ending coming - I had ideas of what was really happening - but I was so wrong and couldn't be happier about that! The twist was one of the best I've encountered in a good long while. The ending was perfect - This is my first book by Sarah Alderson - and I am happy to say - I'm looking for more of her books right now! New fan, here!
Don't pass this one up, folks - its worth it. Heart pounding/racing - eager to finish - but never want it to end. Great story - some might think its slow to start - but I disagree - Very well written. Loved it!

Excellent narration. The story was unique and there were a few twists I didn’t see coming. The premise was a bit far fetched, but it was overall well paced and entertaining. The reason for 3 Vw 4 stars is due to the way the author handled a few of the twists - the ideas were good, the execution of them though… surprising the reader is good, tricking them however…

I really enjoy this author. As many said it’s a slow burn, but not in the sense that nothing is happening, there a lot happening throughout the whole book, but things REALLY start twisting 180 degrees in the last few chapters. As someone who has been overdoing it on thrillers and has gotten a bit jaded, this one breathed new life into me.

If you can make it to Chapter 28, keep going. I couldn’t stand the protagonist for most of the book and wasn’t all that interested but wanted to finish it given the good reviews. You basically can partially pay attention until 28 although there are a few hints at what is to come during that time.
