About this audiobook

"A twisty thriller that stretches to the far reaches of the Alaskan tundra, The Final Hunt is a one-sit read, and Cameron Prescott is the kind of take-no-prisoners protagonist you’ll be rooting for to the final, spine-tingling pages.” - USA Today and Amazon #1 Bestselling Author, Danielle Girard

Alone in a hunting cabin, off-grid in an untamed wilderness. How does a marriage come to this?
After John disappeared while hunting—presumed dead from a bear attack—Cameron found the crime photos. His role in the recent Seattle serial murders was discovered. The media destroyed her reputation. She lost her dental practice, is on the brink of losing her home.

Everyone has a secret. But if her husband could hide the unimaginable from her, who’s to say he’s truly dead?

“What brings you so far from home?” the Alaska State Trooper had asked. The truth.

"Dark secrets lie at the heart of this riveting tale of murder and betrayal. The Final Hunt hooked me on the first page and didn't let go." - Chris Patchell, USA TODAY bestselling author

This was a pretty darned awesome listen. The tale was woven as a many-layered, tense thriller/whodunnit. Though there were a couple minor errors (need a thorough content editor), I enjoyed it quite a bit. Listened throughout one late afternoon-evening. I’m looking forward to the author’s next books. The narrator did an excellent job.

I so enjoyed the wild Alaskan landscape setting. Get so tired of books set in cities. A gripping read too and a tough protagonist.

This is the first book I have read by Audrey J. Cole and I enjoyed it. It's a little predictable and a little unrealistic, but that's why it's called fiction. I read a lot of suspense books and I finished this one in one day. It moves quickly and is not bogged down with unnecessary detail or redundant content. I will definitely be checking out the 6 titles in the Emerald City series.

It was a fun read! I did enjoy it very much. It wasn’t really a mystery but it was interesting just the same.

Absolutely fantastic, both the book & the narrator. Loved it.

It was an ok listen, I personally don’t like story lines that aren’t convincing. I feel Cameron finding a random murder in Alaska that didn’t really fit her husband’s pattern all from looking at a magazine is an extreme reach. Nothing felt realistic, almost everything felt forced. Author had a good idea for a story however.
