Both of them loved him. One of them killed him . . .

Louise has had to watch her husband, Andrew, start a new family in the four years since he left her. The ‘other woman’ is now his wife – but Louise isn’t ready to let Caz enjoy the life that was once hers, or to let go of the man she still loves.

As Louise starts to dig into Caz’s past, the two women’s pretence of civility starts to slip. But in trying to undermine each other, they discover more about the man they both married.

And when Andrew is murdered at a family party, both women are found standing over the body.

It’s always the wife. But which one?

Make ONE IN THREE the ONE to read!

Twist, turn, twist, turn! This book was fast-paced, unpredictable, and impossible to put down. I always love it when a book has multiple narrators, and the book’s narrators did an amazing job.

“Wife-kills-husband”books are my favorite genre of books....so when I read the description of this book, I was instantly intrigued.

I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more books by this author.

This book was okay. Nothing spectacular. It did keep my interest enough to listen all the way through without suffering (!). Narration was okay but, again, nothing spectacular. Nothing special to distinguish this book from so many others in this genre.

Thought about buying on sale through IBooks, but decided to listen on SCRIBD first. Glad I did, so won’t waste money on buying it.

2.5 rounded up to 3 stars due to excellent narration.
Overall a decent mystery, though the pettiness and jealousy bits could’ve been shortened up by a good 2hrs - the tension would’ve been much better vs feeling overly drawn out and repetitive.
There’s a LOT of misdirection at the end but my guess from the beginning was correct.. there’s a very obvious spoiler by the author that I won’t mention until the very end of this review. Skip to avoid.
Most characters are fairly well developed, though the husband is rather flat and he, his mother in law and and the first wife are ridiculously narcissistic.

The title.. really wish the author had thought that thru a bit more.

I had a hard time putting this one down. I expected predictable and it was anything but. A convoluted tale with an unexpected ending.

i was immediately hooked with this novel. the story got very interesting early on, and it truly had me going back and forth with trying to figure out “who done it?” although the ending was still a surprise, it felt very anti-climactic and too coincidental to be believable. that is the only reason this book didn’t get a 5 star rating from me. the bulk of the novel was interesting, understandable and even relatable as a woman who’s been cheated on. great listen!

More of a soap opera than a mystery or a thriller. The narrators were all excellent. I kept reading reviews that mentioned twists and turns. I would describe it as secrets and relationships revealed. This should be filed under family drama and never described as a thriller. As audiobooks go, it was very well produced and narrated. As plots go, it barely held my attention (I fastforwarded parts to get through the book).

This book was good. I mean good good. I’ll tell you upfront, I didn’t like the prologue, it didn’t intrigue me and I was like meh. And if it does that to you, KEEP GOING. Because this book has so many twists and turns and devious unreliable narrators that is needed in a good domestic thriller. The narrators were fabulous. Would read another book by this author for sure.
