Alice Hunter

After completing a psychology degree, Alice Hunter became an interventions facilitator in a prison. There, she was part of a team offering rehabilitation programmes to men serving sentences for a wide range of offences, often working with prisoners who’d committed serious violent crimes. Previously, Alice had been a nurse, working in the NHS. She now puts her experiences to good use in fiction. THE SERIAL KILLER’S WIFE draws heavily on her knowledge of psychology and the criminal mind.

Excellent, though telling narration… unfortunately I had nearly the entire plot figured out from the beginning…. And the only twist was thinking it couldn’t possibly be that simple… I was wrong.
If you’re a fan of lifetime esq books, you may enjoy this, but if you’re looking for something with substance, skip this one.

This was a roller coaster ride worth every minute invested. I was left literally shaking my head. At some point I was unable to put it down.
    Well Done !!

Somewhat predictable, but entertaining during my long commute. The relationship between Tom and Beth could have been explored a bit more. Did not get that dynamic.

It was ok, a little predictable but not bad. The o Lu issue I had is the female narrator’s mouth sounds. Very distracting and a little gross.

Starts off really good- then it drags for waaayyyyy too many chapters. It could have been 100 pages shorter and been an excellent book.

I enjoyed the story, a little dark and definitely some questionable behaviors, but overall kept my interest. And the ending, made it all worth it, didn't see that one coming.

This had a different storyline, which I thought was intriguing, but the book just didn't create a compelling read for me. I finished it because I didn't have anything else . The twist at the end was good, but it seemed a long, slow listen to get there.

Really enjoyed it! Easy to follow, good characters, love a good twist at the end.

These are the most unlikable characters I've ever encountered in one book. There's not one person in this predictable drivel to root for. I kept waiting for a twist that would make it less obvious, but no. It is exactly what you think it is.
    The narrators are great though.
