This audiobook touched on the darkside of mortality and the tough choices needed to be made when thrown into the arms of survival. The author gives you realistic emotions and physical visuals that not only put you in the scene but making you cringe with believability. Thru the written characterization and the extremely well done narration, the characters come to life with such realism you loved and hated them with the strongest emotions. I would have given 5 stars except for the ending. The ending was good but if not for the great ride I was on through out the reading and the twists and turns, coupled with the high leveled energy of the narrator, I became disappointed that it ended too neat and not as believable as the rest of the writing. The ending does not deter the incredible job the narrator did...he literally is acting out each character, bringing the characters to life. I should give a fifth star just for him. Enjoy.

I suffered through the first half hour. It starts with foul language and violence. All unnecessary. The narrator isn't the greatest either.
