Action, gore, monsters...what else do you need. This was a great audiobook and the narration gave it so much more.
The author took monsters/criptids of legend and bought them to life, giving them a roll in this well written audiobook. Each criptid was described in detail and their powers brought to the forefront. The scenes were so well depicted that you were able to visualize every description the author wrote. The narrator, not my first time with him, was incredible and each voice change excellent. There was nothing missing from this horrifically satisfying audiobook, a total home run. Going for book 2...the pace and bar is set, fingers crossed.

A great story. Took a few turns I wasn’t expecting and I loved it. Can’t wait to experience the rest of the series….it’s a series right???
