Ump. Not bad, but a little too firmly in the cliche mode and nothing much to make it stand out. He also got away way too easily with his deception - though proposing before she knew helped. Actually, part of the problem is insufficient conflict - Tarleton gets dealt with, her coolness lasts all of half an hour... And by the way, getting to second base with a woman who's recently been assaulted and barely rescued from a rape shouldn't be that easy. Bah. Nothing bad about it, but nothing much good either.
