I like that it's a little back story on them both, but, I can't believe I'm saying this, there was just a bit too much Spice! ??

I'm also torn because had this book been #1 and not #2 I feel like it would've done one of those things where you fall for Grey only to find out he's worse than he lets show. Knowing what I knew from book 1 had me fighting to like the Grey she met when she was younger.

Jacks time with Paco though!?! ??? Yeesssss I loved all of that! ? ? ?

Loved this one so much more than the first. One, because we got answers to so many questions left unanswered in the first book. So much more substance as well. Two, because I now realize this is not a romance about Jack and Angela. Disappointing, but I can enjoy it more knowing this.

The writing was really well done but I feel like the first book should have been the second and visa versa. This book went into way more detail and explained the characters more than the first book did . Both books ended abruptly and didn't tie up any loose ends or even cliff hanger, the just became disjointed a bit and then BAM the end. The sex scenes were hot . . I just wish there had been more of a complete and cohesive storyline.

I would read this one first, gives origin story of both. But as a whole, these books are pretty much just sex with little plot, which isn’t a bad thing- just a warning.

Better than the first book. Stories are engaging and the background/origin for Jack and Angela had me interested. Loved the bi-nature mirrored in more than one way. Clever and interesting. Will definitely read more.
