About this audiobook

Run, little faerie. Run.
I have all kinds of plans for what I'll do when I catch you.

Brock Hume is a lone wolf, and right now he's hunting the most tempting prey he's ever encountered. He really can't help himself. Her scent reminds him of the heather blossoms of his homeland, and she has curves he can't wait to get his paws on. And she was running from him…
A werewolf.

Heather Knight has to be the worst faerie ever, but being that she grew up as a human, that really shouldn't be a surprise. She can't even tell when a man isn't actually a man at all. And she really should have known, for no mortal human was that hot. To protect her heart—and her true identity—she runs.

In a strange twist of fate, Brock and Heather find themselves thrown into the dark world of the fae. To win the game, and rescue the girl, Brock will have to learn the truth about his mate, but her secrets could also tear them apart…

Shifter/Faerie Romance...

L.E. Wilson

L.E. Wilson writes Paranormal Romance with Bite (because Vampires!) starring intense alpha males and the women who are fearless enough to tame them—for the most part anyway. ;) In her novels you'll find smoking hot scenes, a touch of suspense, a bit of gore, and multifaceted characters, all working together to combine her lifelong obsession with the paranormal and her love of romance. Her writing career came about the usual way: on a dare from her loving husband to "write a damn book" already while folding laundry one day in Texas. Taking that as the challenge that it was, she grabbed her mango Hard Lemonade, hit the pool, and Blood Hunger, the first book of her Deathless Night Series, was born. Little did they know just one casual suggestion would open a box of worms (or words as the case may be) that would forever change their lives. L.E. now lives in the misty mountains outside of Seattle, WA with her family. Peach tea and her tiara are a necessary part of her writing process, though sometimes you'll find her typing away at her favorite Starbucks. She walks two miles to get there, to make up for all of those coffees. On the weekends she likes to hike, garden, cook vegan food, and have date nights with her favorite guy. This book was terrible for I am concerned because I had to skip to the end of but still couldn’t listen to foul word that was being said to often. The profanity was to harsh to listen to.

Very well put together. It's kind of wacky with the way the 2 main characters come together. Hot love scenes. Great plot twist.

When Brock and Heather are dropped into a strange other dimension by a devious fae Prince, they must find one another and survive. They fall in love along the way but they both have issues that get in the way of realizing it.
The story was interesting and I am intrigued to see how the story will continue in the next book.

Pretty good read. Does have some steamy sexual scenes throughout but not enough to make it seem like a smut book. I do like the storyline and development of characters.

It was a really good book but I wish the future books were about these two main characters. I feel like it could have been a full series

I was confused as to why the Prince wants to play games with Heather and Brock. And what did the afar do to her parents that they ran and kept her in the dark? Sigh! I enjoyed the couple though!

Dnf. It was alright until the weird accent showed up. I laughed and thought it wasn't gonna be a thing. It is def a thing he does. Going from one accent to another killed me. ??

Don't waste your time. The narrator killed it for me. I couldn't make it through the first chapter.

I loved the beginning of the book, but the past 21st chapter sucked really bad. Hated the ending of the book, it didn’t make sense whatsoever to me.

I enjoyed Lone Wolf's Claim: A Paranormal Shifter Romance by L.E. Wilson. Brock is a "lone wolf" looking for a new pack in Seattle, but stumbling upon a mate instead. Heather is taking a quick trip to Seattle, but apparently her parents forgot to tell her to never go to Seattle since that's where the Fae Prince is. . . . if you can get over that stupid-ness, then you will enjoy the rest of the book. The Fae Prince decides to play with Heather and Brock by throwing them into a life or death game in another realm.

This was more fun than your average fated mate kind of book, since the majority of the book happens with the main two characters are on an adventure to get back home. They actually have time to get to know each other a bit. I think that's more fun than the whole "I smelled him/her and knew they were mine" kind of book. Of course in real life the whole smelling your mate would be very convenient; however, subway rides could occasionally get weird. .... would you applaud the new couple, or change trains at the next stop?

Brock and Heather's love story has a satisfying conclusion, but the book nicely sets up some continuing world drama. If you want to see how that drama ends, you can continue reading the next books without feeling like you were tricked or robbed.

I listened to it on Scribd. Philip Alces was a good narrator.

The narrator was blah and the characters sounded like they were unintelligent.
