On His Six can be read as a stand alone, but it is book three in the Away From Keyboard series by Patricia D. Eddy. I love this series and highly recommend it for the flawed heroes and excellent romantic suspense! Ryker is ex-special forces and was previously held captive by a hostile enemy. He now runs his own agency in Boston. I have been fascinated by his character in the previous 2 books, so I was very glad to devour this story! I had trouble imagining any woman who could fit with him, but Wren is amazingly perfect! She is an amazing bad-ass character who slides right into his heart before he knows what hit him and I was all in for it!

Aiden Snow and his incredibly growly voice and amazing talent carried this character with ease and I just loved it! Grace also did a great job with Wren’s character and the complexity involved in such a bad ass woman who is on the run and afraid to trust. Excellent audio and definitely worth the credit!

I LOVE military romantic suspense and this series is seriously so great. The author has the perfect mixture of thrilling plot, droolworthy alpha heros, and steamy sex. Also have to note how amazing the author did depicting mental health issues and the characters dealing with them. It's not often you find that in books, but it really hooked me in this series.
